Yarn: Lion Brand Fisherman's Wool in "Nature's Brown"
Pattern: Hemlock Ring Blanket, as adopted by Jared Flood
Modifications: Nothing. I just kept going until the end of the chart, instead of stopping at the "gold line"
I just picked up the yarn from my stash, printed out this pattern, and started knitting. It was one of those things where you didn't need any extra planning or thinking because you've always planned to do this in the back of your mind.
I got to the feather-and-fan lace part on the first day. It was a really quick knit. In fact, the whole project only took about 5 days. The binding off part was the 5th day in its entirety. Really, if I make this again, I am so doing the crochet "alternate" bind off.
this is not even fully blocked since I just couldn't find the right place to pin this down. With an extremely curious dog around the house, it's really difficult. I'm just really looking forward to using this blanket during winter season. I have a feeling this is gonna be so abused around the house.
