A month ago, I donated a little to the cause to help people in Napal after the earthquake through The Sugar Shack Styling Co.. and received these cute prayer flags in the mail today. They're reminders to pray for Nepal and people who were affected by the earthquake.
Donating to a good cause is always good, but getting a small gift in return makes it extra special. Every time I look at them, I'll be thinking of this year and remember to not only pray for the people in Nepal but also for everyone in the world who need help... and remind myself to do more and reach out more every day to be helpful and useful for those people.
I simply put thumb tacks on the door frame and hung these up. On the regular office supply type thumb tacks, I superglue-d cute buttons. To prevent accidents, set the thumb tacks on stable surfaces like styrofoam boards or a cardboard box.
