{Winter Forest} Holla Knits Winter 2016

After a long hiatus, I return to you with a new pattern released in the Winter 2016 issue of Holla Knits: Winter Forest.

This is my second pattern published through Holla Knits. The magazine has been around for 5 years now! They usually publish very fun, bold, exciting pieces and I am always so honored to be able to work with the editor, Allyson, and be featured along with other talented designers.

Pattern: Winter Forest
Pattern Store: Holla Knits Winter 2016
Yarn: Sweet Georgia Yarns Trinity Worsted in "Willow"

The pullover features "high low" hemline, and I purposefully left the side seam open. I love how it shows off playfulness and casual mood of the design. The cable pattern is simple and easy to memorize, which in my book, is the only way to cable. The sleeves are extra long, just the way I like it.

Everything about this sweater is very me, it captures just what I like in all my favorite sweaters.

Felicia at Sweet Georgia Yarns graciously provided yarn support for this design and Trinity Worsted is the perfect yarn for this sweater. It drapes, but it's strong and the stitch definition is phenomenal. The silk content definitely makes it feel so luxurious.

The pattern is now available at Holla Knits, as well as Ravelry. I am hoping to put the patterns on Craftsy and LoveKnitting this weekend.
